What is WordPress?

WordPress is a sophisticated content management system that enables easy publishing of content on the web. With WordPress, you can publish a blog, run a website etc. WordPress is free and open source and is available at WordPress.org.

What are WordPress themes?

WordPress themes are design packages that you can easily apply to your WordPress blog or website. Instead of customizing a WordPress site from ground up, it is possible to style the whole site with a few clicks by applying a theme package.

What are the requirements for using iDesignEco themes?

You need to have a self-hosted WordPress installation to use our themes. Our themes require a minimum of WordPress 2.8 and PHP 5.

What kind of knowledge level should I have to use iDesignEco themes?

WordPress itself is a very intuitive content management system. It is possible to run and maintain a website or blog with minimal technical knowledge. Our themes comes with an administration panel where all the customizable options are laid out in an easy to use manner with accompanying help text. For more advanced customization (for instance HTML and CSS), we offer video tutorials, live coaching etc. to our members.

Membership and purchasing

What benefits do I get as a member?

If you subscribe to one of our membership packages (AdvancedEco, AdvancedEco Live, AdvancedEco Ultimate), you get unlimited access to all our themes and updates. With AdvancedEco Live and Ultimate, we offer video tutorials, live coaching and more. You can find more information on our membership packages here.

What is the difference between getting a theme and a membership?

Purchasing an individual theme is a one time process where you pay $49 to download a particular theme. With a membership subscription, you get unlimited access to all our themes updates and more. More information on the membership packages can be found here.

Are future updates to a theme I’ve purchased free?

Yes. All future updates and addons that we release to a theme you have purchased (either individually or via membership) is free.

What are the methods of payment you accept?

We accept credit and debit cards through 2Checkout, our payment processor. 2Checkout also accepts PayPal payments for non-recurring individual theme purchases.

What happens after I pay?

After your payment is processed, you can immediately login to your account and access your purchase.

I have already purchased an idividual theme, can I purchase more?

Yes. You can purchase themes by visiting the themes page after logging into your member area. If you plan on purchasing multiple themes, we recommend you take a look at our membership packages.

Do I get charged monthly for individual purchases?

No. You only have to pay a monthly for the membership packages. Individual theme purchases are a one time process.

How do I cancel my recurring membership?

You can login to your account and use the cancel link underneath your purchase under My subscriptions to initiate a cancellation. It takes about 24 hours for your cancellation to be processed.

Would I have access to themes after I have cancelled my recurring membership?

No, you only have access to the themes as long as your membership is active. You will have life long access to the themes you purchased individually.

How does the affiliate program work?

How often is the payout sent?

We pay affiliates whose earnings exceed $100 during the first week of every month (1st to 7th).

What are the available payout methods?

You can get your payments sent to you either by PayPal or as checks.

Do I have to purchase a membership to be an affiliate?

No, you don’t have to purchase a recurring membership or a theme to become an affiliate. You can signup as an affiliate here.

I have a lot of referrals, can I get a personalised affiliate program?

Yes! Please get in touch with us and we will work out a custom tailored affiliate program to suit your needs.
